How do people get those good tickets?

In the debut novel Never Sold Out, a young rock and roll enthusiast reveals the behind-the-scenes hijinks of the secondary ticket market of the nineties. Caught up in the risky adventures of acquiring and selling tickets to high-priced events, Doug and his friend Carlo find themselves in strange situations. One day they are negotiating with shady characters, and the next, having serendipitous drinks with movie stars. But how far will Doug go to help Carlo? Do the ends justify the means in keeping your business afloat, and is it worth selling a bit of your soul along the way?

"I looked back to Carlo, trying to telepathically ask him if I should grab the gun. This was probably my only chance to save us…."
